exhibition

Dropped by Fairfield Museum to check out their migrant hostel exhibition & they had a short presentation with a couple of migrants sharing about their experience in the1950's. I was even able to share some stuff about my family's journey here. Brought back memories of my childhood and reminded me of how blessed I am and the sacrifices my family made for me.

 English classes

Local grocery shops & doing the laundry

The tray of cutlery which each family received. Recipes for communal eating.
And a hall for dances & performances.

advent

It's almost xmas so I decided to make advent calendars for the ladies in Home Group. Was such fun!

And my favourite tree! I used to drive the long way to the Horsley Drive just so I could go past this tree. It's just amazing. It continues to survive even after 150 years & being split into 2. Great to see that it hasn't been fenced off or being restored which means we can climb it! A perfect tree to climb! :)

terrigal

I was able to get away for a few days in Terrigal with a good friend. Was so lovely & relaxing.

First random pitstop. An oyster farm at Mooney Mooney. It was raining & we were walking around the puddles trying to find the place! Then we found the little shed with a window. He shucks it fresh for you & they were so worth the find!

The Jellyfish Cafe - at the end of the beach. Beautiful views & home-made schnitzel!

Ettalong Beach - my favourite place in the whole trip! The sand was so soft & that shallow water just goes on forever

 Macmasters Beach

Little Bay

Jetty off Tuggerah Lakes at The Entrance.

Ettalong markets - the quaintest markets I've ever been to!
