Still settling into some sort of routine after my trip. 2 weeks ok caught up with a good friend at Newington. A beautiful, relaxing, quiet place

Lately, I've been attempting to have a garden on my balcony. My mum has kindly given me some plants. Usually I'm terrible with plants. I've managed to kill cacti so we'll see how I go! We've had lots of rain - so pretty so far! :)

Visited the Aviation Museum in Bankstown. Such a hidden gem - collection of everything to do with planes. So much history - I even got a free tour from one of the volunteers explaining the difference between a propeller engine & a jet engine :) Considered taking flying lessons for about... a minute. Then thought otherwise!

Love Gumtree! Scored a bargain this week. This Ikea sofa bed was a quarter of the price & still in such great condition. Now I have something better than an airbed to offer my guests. Plus I had a couple of strangers & my neighbours carry it down & up 3 flights of stairs for me! Such a random yet providential day. So worth the drive to Glebe for it :)
